Sometime people often use the two term “BLOG” and “FORUM” interchangeably. However, it is important to note that there is a difference between the two.
A Blog – What is it?
A blog is a website in which items are posted on a regular basis. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. Blogs are more like a simple homepage where other people may contribute with comments, but one person is in charge i.e. the blog owner A.K.A. the “Blogger”, and blog owner can delete any comment he/she doesn't want on the page.
Today, blogging has emerged as a very popular means of communication.
A Forum – What is it?
A Forum is a medium in which the public may debate an issue or express opinion or a discussion group for participant with common interest. In forums, there could be thousands of people posting topic messages and also adding comments. Members are often of equal levels, and content is usually segregated by topic(s).
